Even though we are diligently crossing things off our list of things to do before we leave, it seems that the list keeps growing! There's only so much packing and re-packing we can do with 3 days to go! Our plans are officially set for our first few days...
Guesthouse - confirmed.
Halong Bay Cruise - confirmed.
Now all we need to do is keep our fingers crossed for some sunshine in Hanoi! I checked the weather this evening and it looks like there's going to be clouds, rain, and more rain. Eek. T However, this is to be expected considering we'll be there during monsoon season. Sounds like the rain usually comes in showers a few times a day, it doesn't just pour all day long (whew!). I plan on taking a small, waterproof camera in addition to my DSLR. That way, we'll be able to document our trip in rain or shine!
Mom and Claire left for Bear Creek Camp this morning. Dad and I enjoyed a nice, quiet, but HOT and HUMID Father's Day. These past few days have definitely been preparing us for weather in Vietnam. Average temps over there right now are ranging from 81 (low) to 90 (high). 81 as a LOW! Whew.
On a final note, we're still waiting for the puppies. Kallie hasn't had much of an appetite since Friday. She has also been very restless. Let's hope these pups get here before we leave!
